For high school seniors in Leon County, April through June is "celebration season". Many celebrations, from Prom to Graduation include drinking alcohol, taking drugs and driving while impaired.  According to the Dept of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, during this time on average, in Leon County alone, almost 500 car crashes involve a driver between ages 15-19 .

For this reason, parents of students of Chiles High School have committed to providing graduating seniors an irresistible alternative to the typical post-ceremony celebrations. PROJECT GRADUATION's mission provides our graduates a safe, supervised, all-night, alcohol-drug-free celebration, which in most years includes music, games, amazing prizes and all-night buffet! This celebration is funded 100% from contributions from community members and parents.
